INTERIOR REDESIGN
Beautiful Room Transformation Using What You Already Own ...
Most of us have nice belongings or some new items mixed with the old. Whatever the case may be, many people get tired of the same things everyday. Women, particularly, love to 'play' and move furniture around for a change. The problem is many don't know how to quite create balance and harmony. You've probably heard people say, "Something is missing, but I don't know what it is." Design Realign hears this all the time, and we can help!

What is Interior Redesign?
Interior Redesign, in simple terms, is using what you already own to create a beautiful transformation in your home. It is also referred to as 'one-day room makeover'. Unlike home staging--where the sellers' goal is to stage the home to appeal to buyers for a quick sale--interior redesign focuses on the homeowner pleasing their own personal tastes. We also do bookcase redesigns.
The bottom line is a room can 'feel' tired or goes unused because people don't know what to do with it. Design Realign uses what you already own and artfully (re)arranges and tailors your furnishings, accessories, lighting, and art to bring character and personality into your room or home. Most room makeovers take between 3-5 hours.
What are the Benefits of Interior Redesign?
There are several benefits to having an interior redesign done in one or more rooms in your home. Many people get 'tired' of their room(s) and use this as an excuse to shop and buy new things. That is a personal choice, however, you'd be surprised how you'd feel after a redesign. HERE ARE THE BENEFITS:
-
A redesign saves homeowners alot of money--by using what they already own--versus buying new belongings.
-
A redesign brings life to a room, gives it new meaning, and a completely new look without spending a dime.
-
Having a redesign is a wonderful learning experience and shows you how a little creativity can go a long way.
-
There is no buyers remorse with redesigns, because you are left feeling satisfied with having a 'new' room!

Bookcase Redesign Sample
A room redesign isn't a redesign if you don't also style or redesign the bookcase. The same can be said about staging a bookcase. It is a must. Think of the bookcase as a work of art ... because it is!
The bookcase redesign shown below was more challenging than most because all I had to work with was small corner shelves which limited me with the size of the items and the number of items I could use. The bottom three shelves were also limited in height.
Out of about 40 pieces on the shelves from the left and right bookcases, I only reused one item for the redesign. The other pieces were found in the basement, for the most part. The design went from a stale museum feel to a warm, cozy, and inviting feel.
